Why partner with us?

Our programs provide a wide range of benefits to participants and partner organisations.

  1. Improve health and wellbeing.

  2. Strengthen family relationships and parenting practices.

  3. Demonstrate your commitment to gender equity by developing girls’ critical thinking skills to identify and overcome gender inequities and recruiting/upskilling dads and program facilitators as gender equity advocates.

  4. Foster community connection.

  5. Enhance girls’ leadership skills and critical thinking skills to identify and overcome gender inequities.

  6. Uniquely engage families. Only 6% of parenting program attendees globally are fathers. Our program is one of the best ways to increase father/father-figure engagement in your school/club community.

  7. Rapidly improve girls’ sport skills as they work with dad as their 'personal coach’ through evidence-based skill acquisition principles.

  8. Develop pathways for female participation and build the participant base through a safer and more supportive introduction to sport.

  9. Provide girls with the knowledge, language and interest to engage deeply with women’s sport.

  10. Increase the number of volunteers, coaches, referees and administrators by uniquely engaging father-figures in girls’ and women’s sport.

Partner Testimonials

“I nearly cried when the Dads were asked why they had signed up and everyone said they wanted to spend more quality time with their daughters and help her gain confidence in life as well as in sport. They were all genuinely impressed with the quality of the program.”

“The Daughters and Dads Active and Empowered program is working to benefit the lives of individuals, communities and society at large. I am thrilled that the Office of Sport is working in partnership with the University of Newcastle to help more families realise the unique and powerful benefits of this program and its potential for families.”
